Deal is to participate in the prestigious I-4/ Lee Roy Selmon Expressway Connector project in Tampa, Florida.
A contract has been finalised for the modification of the existing span by span launching equipment which had been earlier sold to PCL for utilisation in their Ernest Lyons Bridge Replacement project in Florida.
This equipment, originally designed as “under-slung” will be converted into an “over-slung” launching girder, which requires the supply of a number of additional components such as lifting winches, sling systems and new supports. The equipment to be finally delivered will be a launching truss with dual “under-slung “ and “over-slung” configuration according to the project requirements.
