Deal is to supply all equipment, complete engineering services and specialistic technical assistance to the contractors engaged in the construction of the elevated portion of the new Calgary Metrorail in Canada.
The scope of contract includes:
- the supply of all launching equipment under a guaranteed Buy Back scheme; subject to adequate retrofitting, the project will make use of the “combo” type equipment already employed with success on the Seattle Metrorail project;
- the provision of specialistic engineering services such as elaboration of shop drawings, geometric checks, preparation of the Erection Manual and operative scheduling for the assembly of prefabricated segments.
