Over the course of October, a consortium which includes Siram S.p.A., Rizzani de Eccher S.p.A. and others, has entered into an agreement with the hospital-university management agency “S. Maria della Misericordia” of Udine for the construction and operation of several hospital facilities under a project financing scheme.
Rizzani de Eccher S.p:A. will executed works for Euro 38 million . The project’s particular features in respect of energy-conservation and environment protection make it compliant with the broad guidelines of the Kyoto Treaty and the UE’s climate-energy action plan (20/20/20 goals)
The new Services and Laboratories Centre will be spread over a 14,000 sqm area and will be powered by a co-generation plant, which, besides meeting the energy requirements of the hospital, shall provide centralized heating to a large swath of housing estates in the North-West quadrant of Udine.
The preliminary design has been developed entirely by Rizzani de Eccher S.p.A. and Siram S.p.A. placing particular emphasis on the impact on the environment, the comfort of patients, energy efficiency and pollution reduction.
